Abaqus’ allGeo Load Tracking Service Adds Proof of Delivery with GPS-Tagged Photo from any Driver’s Phone
3PLs, Brokers and non-Asset Based Fleet Managers can eliminate check calls and improve operations with real-time load location, alerts, messaging and GPS-tagged Proof-of-Delivery (POD) without requiring the installation of an app on the driver’s phone
Abaqus, Inc., a provider of the first-of-a-kind allGeo cloud-hosted Mobile Workforce Management Solutions, today announced the addition of a new GPS-tagged photo capture feature for its load tracking service to provide proof of delivery status, rapidly submit Bills-of-Lading, and provide proof of driver identity to cut down on load theft and fraud.
“Shippers, Freight Broker and 3PL companies stake their reputation on their ability to get the right goods to their customers, on time and in good condition,” said Shaili Jain, CEO of Abaqus. Inc. “The allGeo Load Tracking service now offers Proof-of-Delivery over any mobile phone as part of an end-to-end (mobile & web) solution that can be essential for operations improvement, combating theft and fraud, and keeping customers happy.”
Using Cellular-network location or GPS data, freight and delivery companies can provide automatic verification that a delivery was made, as well as document the condition of the goods and generate all necessary invoices and receipts.
All the captured data (messages, photos, text dispatches, location data etc.) is tied back to the driver’s load details on the allGeo system. The system generates custom reports which can then help the back-office reconcile their billing and insurance coverage with reduced delays in addition to providing real-time updates to their own customers. There are other side benefits of reducing cost associated with fuel, more efficient use of driver’s time and increased on-time rate, a potential decrease in insurance premium, reduction in chargebacks due to auditable records of delivery etc.
The allGeo driver and load management service for non-asset based freight brokers and fleet managers uses any cell phone to provide real-time and schedule-based tracking, driver-dispatcher messaging, and analytics.
